The recent mass shootings at a primary school in Uvalde, Texas, and at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York, have reignited calls for greater gun control measures in the U.S.
Some are calling for an expansion of so-called ‘red flag’ gun laws that seek to block at-risk people from getting their hands on firearms.
But large parts of the population remain resistant to implementing such measures.
