Three weeks after a British journalist disappeared and was murdered in Brazil’s Amazon, he was cremated in Rio de Janeiro, on Sunday.

His guide was mourned last Friday in his home state of Pernambuco.

Protesters also took the streets, demanding justice for a crime that has sparked global outrage.
