Another case of the monkeypox virus in a child has been reported in New York. It’s the second reported in the state since the outbreak began in the U.S. 

That on the same day that the White House Monkeypox Response Team confirmed improved vaccination access in the U.S. is having an impact on the number of new cases. 

But there’s still a national health emergency, which people need to remain alert to.
