We’re still in the first month of 2023 and yet, there have been 39 mass shootings recorded in the United States, according to the Gun Violence Archive.
The non-profit research database shows that there have been more than 600 mass shootings each year for the last three years – almost two a day on average.
However, despite the increased violence, the political stalemate in Washington means gun control reform is unlikely any time soon, as CGTN’s Kate Fisher reports.
