A series of winter storms and an extraordinary amount of rainfall may have helped avert a looming water crisis in parts of California.

One small farming community was just weeks away from running out of drinking water this winter, forcing the local water authority to pay about ten times more to support nearby farms.

But as local farmers tell correspondent Ediz Tiyansan, the water crisis is far from over.
