California has been pummeled this winter by 10 atmospheric rivers, which are long, narrow plumes of moisture that turn into rain and snow. They may have provided a respite from a mega drought the state has been facing, but excessive rainfall has caused widespread damage on properties, livelihoods and vast amounts of farmland.
CGTN’s Ediz Tiyansan has spoken to farmers in California’s Central Valley, who say their state should have taken better advantage of this rare wet year.
