Working mothers comprise a significant part of the labor force, accounting for about one-third (32%) of all working women.
The U.S. Census Bureau says in 2018 there were more than 23 million who were employed with kids under the age of 18.
But many were forced to quit their jobs when the pandemic hit.
Others, who were able to work from home, are now being required to return to the office, per employer mandates.
