Da Vinci’s visionary sketches go on display for first time in U.S.

Leonardo Da Vinci is best known for the Mona Lisa. But he was also a visionary who designed a prototype airplane, a tank and even a car hundreds of years before their time. And this Wednesday, 12 sketches from the largest collection of his notes and drawings – the Codex Atlanticus – go on public display in the U.S. for the first time. Owen Fairclough reports.
