The University of California San Francisco has recently published one of the most comprehensive studies carried out statewide on the issue of homelessness, shedding new light on the root cause of the problem.
After administering nearly 3,200 questionnaires to participants and 365 in-depth interviews with adults experiencing homelessness in eight regions of the state, the study has found a devastating truth, and that is, as Californians age, they are being priced out of housing.
