Last week the U.S. Supreme Court ruled against a Biden administration plan to wipe away some student loan debt, dashing the hopes of millions of borrowers bogged down with thousands of dollars of debt.

In another potential blow to those struggling with student loan debt, monthly payment requirements will soon begin after a COVID-19 driven pause of more than three years.
