Bolivia considers trading in Chinese yuan

China has emerged as Bolivia’s primary trading partner in the past decade, doubling its exports to the South American country and surpassing the United States, Brazil, Chile, and Argentina in trade volume.

This significant growth, combined with the scarcity of dollars in the Bolivian market, has led to discussions about wide adoption of the Chinese yuan as a viable alternative.
