White House to open new federal office of Gun Violence Prevention

Gun violence has claimed the lives of more than 31,000 people in the U.S. so far this year and there have already been more than 500 mass shootings.

Solving the problem of gun violence in the U.S. has been elusive, but now the White House is opening a new Office of Gun Violence Prevention hoping to find solutions.
