Within the next few months an authorized armed force will head to Haiti in an attempt to bring stability to the gang ravaged Caribbean nation.

This week, the UN Security Council approved the deployment of a Multinational Security Support force.  The mission was requested by the Haitian government following months of violence and worsening conditions.
