U.S. facing labor shortage

Global Business

The U.S. is suffering from a worker shortage.

An aging population, childcare access, immigration, and a desire for more quality of life might be to blame.

The industries most affected by the labor shortage are construction, restaurants, roofing, hotels, roofing, and agriculture- jobs traditionally held by immigrants. Net international migration is at its lowest level, according to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
