In Bogota, the capital of Colombia, firefighters are working to contain wildfires that started on Monday just outside the city. The El Niño weather pattern, associated with warmer-than-average surface waters in the eastern Pacific, is increasing the risk of wildfires in Colombia. Over 60 wildfires have erupted in the country this month. CGTN’s Michelle Begue reports.
