The Chinese American Museum in Los Angeles helps organize public programs that explore Chinese culture and history. A recent event hosted by a Hispanic cultural center looked at the earliest traces of Chinese customs that shaped parts of Mexico and transformed Mexican cuisine now found across Southern California and much of the United States.
