10 Years of Full Frame

Full Frame

Full Frame is marking its 10th anniversary. Full Frame started in 2014 with the mission to bring in-depth conversations and unique perspectives from the biggest newsmakers and visionaries of our time.

From episode one, host Mike Walter spoke with Microsoft founder and philanthropist, Bill Gates. Then the richest man in the world, we talked about how the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation was tackling some of the most urgent global public health challenges at the time.

Throughout the years, Mike has interviewed other global changemakers as well, including oceanographer and explorer Sylvia Earle, Icelandic Prime Minister Katrín Jakobsdóttir, epidemiologist Jonna Mazet.

Over the past decade, Mike has sat down with some of the world’s most influential artists, actors, filmmakers, musicians and athletes. These individuals have transformed the arts and entertainment. And many have also used their platform to bring to light crucial social issues.

We feature highlights from interviews with actors Forest Whitaker and Julia Ormond, athletes Yao Ming, Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi, filmmaker James Cameron, and singer Angelique Kidjo.

Some of the most inspiring guests we’ve had on Full Frame have turned their personal struggles and trauma into educating and advocating for others. They’ve championed causes like prison reform, racial justice and an end to gun violence. These individuals have made this work into their life’s mission, motivating people worldwide to their causes. Featuring interviews with Ryane Nickens of the TraRon Center, Amanda Nguyen of Rise, and Antonio Fernandez of Grow Up Grow Out, among others.
