Wednesday, May 1 marked a significant milestone for Ecuador and China as the Free Trade Agreement between the two nations went into effect, increasing the expectations of enhancing Ecuador’s export capabilities and stimulating economic growth.

China’s Ministry of Commerce says that the FTA’s enforcement will unlock vast trade and investment opportunities, catalyzing a comprehensive upgrade in bilateral economic cooperation to benefit enterprises and citizens of both nations.
