The first criminal charges have been leveled in the Uvalde School massacre. The former School District Police Chief Pete Arredondo was charged with child endangerment on the night of Thursday, June 27, more than two years after 19 children and two teachers were killed at the Robb Elementary School. He was the presumed commander at the scene, in charge of law enforcements’ botched response to one of the deadliest school shootings in U.S. history.
