As Brazil continues to lead the G20 presidency, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva participated in a meeting on Wednesday, July 24, to formalize the creation of a Global Alliance against Hunger and Poverty. It is one of the main platforms of the country’s agenda. The event in Rio de Janeiro also served to launch the U.N.-led report: State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World 2024.
