There is a growing demand for electricity in the United States, with a lot of it driven by artificial intelligence. To help meet that demand in the coming years, scientists and engineers are turning to low-carbon energy sources and nuclear power. One nuclear facility, Three Mile Island in the state of Pennsylvania, is reopening. It’s the site of the worst nuclear power plant accident in the U.S. Caroline Malone reports.
