U.S. Black beauty market impacted by tariff uncertainty

The Black beauty market in the U.S. is worth more than $9 billion a year. Hair extension, glue, special wigs, much of it comes from China. Beijing and Washington recently agreed to extend their tariff truce for another 90 days, leaving in place a 30% levy on all Chinese exports to the U.S. The tariff uncertainty is driving up prices, and pushing some business owners to stockpile supplies in a bid to avoid higher rates.
