Following the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade in June, the issue of abortion returned to individual states ​and their own legislatures to decide on abortion’s legality. ​

The result: A near-total ban of the procedure in several states, including Texas. ​

Women in these areas have been forced to seek solutions beyond their own borders and sometimes, that brings them to Mexico.
