World Immunization Week

Millions of children across the world could be at risk of life-threatening diseases because of a huge decline in childhood vaccinations. According to the United Nations, an estimated 67 million children missed out entirely or partially on routine vaccines between 2019 and 2021, the biggest regression in nearly 30 years.

The World Health Organization is using this year’s World Immunization Week to highlight the importance of reversing this trend.
