A whole host of countries and industries are already preparing for the potential impacts of a trade dispute next year. U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has threatened to impose a blanket 60% tariffs on goods from China. When Trump imposed tariffs on China imports in his previous administration, China then retaliated by putting tariffs on various U.S. goods including agricultural products like soybeans and corn.
And U.S. farmers are now preparing for a similar scenario, as CGTN’s Dan Williams reports.
