Bogota joins World Cities Culture Forum

Colombia’s capital joins a network of cities from around the globe as a member of the World Cities Culture Forum. It’s the fourth became Latin American city to join the collaborative network. The initiative started by the mayor of London to highlight how culture can impact and create a sustainable urban future. CCTV America’s Michelle Begue reports.

Bogota’s more than 500 private and public cultural venues, such as museums, libraries and theaters are just some of the reasons they were chosen to enter the World Cities Culture Forum. The forum initiated by the Mayor of London, looks for cities that aim to tackle urban challenges such as globalization, infrastructure defects and inequality through culture.
