A delegation from China is now in Switzerland to join the latest round of talks on curbing Iran’s nuclear program. The deadline for reaching a framework agreement is less than two weeks away. CCTV’s Dan Whitehead filed this report from Lausanne, Switzerland.
Highlights:
- The five permanent members of the UN Security Council, plus Germany, all want to build business relationships with what could be a new Iran once a deal is reached.
- They are trying to come to an agreement on how much nuclear capabilities Iran should be able to keep along with a cast-iron guarantee that sanctions will be lifted.
- Talks are likely to go on longer, with the possibility of another round before the March 31st deadline.
