3-D character app MyIdol gains popularity worldwide

The worldwide internet users have been obsessed with a Chinese app during the past several months which can help to make a 3-D cartoon character. This app is called XiaoOu (小偶), and the English name MyIdol in the U.S. App Store.

New mobile app MyIdol gains popularity worldwide

The program features dancing 3D avatars that you can customize with your own face. CCTV's Jim Spellman has the story of how this new phenomenon is making its way across the globe.

We used this app to make 3-D characters for CCTV America’s anchors Elaine Reyes and Asieh Namdar.
