World leaders tackle broad agenda during G7 meet

Leaders of the world's top seven industrial powers are vowing to keep the pressure on Russia over the conflict in Ukraine. Their G-7 annual summit has now wrapped up Germany. CCTV's Guy Henderson filed this report from the Bavarian Alps.

 Highlights:
    • The morning session was a final chance to push particularly a skeptical Japan and Canada to commit to specific carbon emissions reduction targets. Though there was progress – consensus on a broader set of goals ahead of a major climate summit in December.
    • Day Two also saw a number of non-G7 heads of state in attendance.
    • Security was the focus in those discussions, too – with a promise to increase efforts to fight Islamic extremism from Iraq to Nigeria.
