Otakon is an annual convention celebrating Asian pop culture in Washington D.C. It took place from August 10-12, 2018.
Fans of anime, manga, music, gaming have been gathering each year since 1994. More than 80,000 people attended last year.
Events included Cosplay, a maid cafe, artist alley, video games, panels, and dealer shops.
The convention is also a venue for fans showcase their best cosplay, or dressing up as characters from their favorite movies, books or video games.
