Civil rights leader Jesse Jackson addresses Jacob Blake shooting

World Today

Civil rights leader Jesse Jackson visited Wisconsin Thursday to pay his respects to the family of Jacob Blake, the Black man shot by a police officer this week.

His message… African Americans ‘deserve better.’

He also raised questions to what he calls the ‘double standards’ in the treatment of Blake and that of Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old accused of killing two people in the city on Tuesday.
