The roller-coaster of COVID-19 cases seems to have hit a plateau in the U.S.
New infections are holding steady at around 70-75,000 a day after dropping sharply several weeks ago.
Meantime, the national death toll remains elevated at more than 1,200 fatalities per day.
The U.S. West remains a major area of concern, including states like Colorado.
