Heat becomes America’s top weather killer over the past 30 years

According to estimates by the National Weather service, heat has been the single largest contributor to weather-related deaths over the last 30 years.

One of the most recent studies has suggested that up to 20,000 deaths a year in North America may be linked to hot temperatures.
