It’s ​been one year since El Salvador become the first country in the world to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender, with the country’s president Nayib Bukele placing his ​full faith in the volatile cryptocurrency. ​Twelve months ​along, however, ​that faith is hard to come by among the citizens of El Salvador.
