Colombia signed a peace agreement to end 50 years of armed conflict more than six years ago with the largest rebel group in Latin America.

The accord left a lot of challenges and lessons to be shared. Among them, peace has in many respects proven harder than war.

As Colombia’s new government seeks to reach new deals with armed groups, the parties who negotiated the original agreement have been sharing their experiences.
