A horrific axe attack on a daycare center in Brazil has put a spotlight on increasing violence in the country’s schools.

At least four children were killed in Wednesday’s attack while another five were wounded.

Research, meanwhile, finds that Brazil has seen on average more than one school attack per month since last August.
