Five police officers charged in connection with the death of a Black motorist back in 2019 were back in a Louisiana courtroom Tuesday. All pleaded ‘not guilty’ to charges ranging from negligent homicide to obstruction of justice. The State troopers had originally claimed 49-year-old Ronald Greene died after crashing his car into a tree.
That report was at odds with police bodycam video made public two years later.
