On Sunday, voters in Paraguay will go to the polls for the 2023 general election that includes the presidency, parliament and local governments. 

The biggest question is whether the long-ruling Colorado Party will retain the presidency or if the opposition will come out with a victory. Polls say the election will be a tight race.
