In a move that extends the global use of China’s national currency, Argentina’s government has announced it will pay for Chinese imports in yuan instead of U.S. dollars.

The move comes as Latin America’s third-largest economy experiences another turbulent week – the country is battling triple-digit-inflation, and a historic drought have drained Central Bank reserves. CGTN’s Joel Richards reports.
