Cubans marked International Workers’ Day on May 5th after being postponed on Monday due to unstable weather. The Cuban Workers’ Confederation previously called for municipal rallies instead of the traditional marches due to a shortage of fuel to move thousands of participants. In Havana, the main rally was held at the city’s popular sea-front drive boulevard.
