Carbon capture technologies are becoming a priority as countries and companies commit to being carbon-neutral by 2050.
Last month, the U.S. Department of Energy committed a quarter billion dollars to 12 carbon capture and storage projects in seven U.S. states.
These technologies could prove crucial in efforts to reduce greenhouse gases as nations still rely heavily on hydrocarbons for energy.
