New Argentine government faces political opposition

Argentina’s President Javier Milei, a Libertarian, has journeyed to Davos this week to attend the World Economic Forum. There, he intends to “defend the ideas of freedom in a forum polluted by the 2030 socialist agenda,” he said. Milei is hoping to pass a comprehensive bill that seeks to deregulate the economy and reform numerous laws, but he’s facing opposition in Congress and on the streets.
