At the recent COP28 climate conference in Dubai, wealthy nations pledged to contribute to a fund – to help developing nations respond to disasters and other effects of climate change.

It’s long been shown that the world’s smallest countries, many of them island nations, are among the most impacted by global warming. Jamaica is a case in point.

As CGTN’s Alasdair Baverstock reports, this Caribbean island is already struggling to respond.
