G20 finance leaders unable to reach joint consensus

Finance ministers and central bank governors meeting in Brazil ended their two days of talks without a joint communique. The sticking point was not related to the core themes of their meeting – like taxation and fighting inequality – but rather to disagreements concerning global security, particularly the conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza.
