Supreme Court rules states can’t kick Trump off the ballot

The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that Donald Trump will remain on the Colorado ballot as the presumptive Republican presidential nominee for this November’s election. The court overturned a ruling by the Colorado Supreme Court to disqualify Trump over his role on January 6th. But if the decision by a Republican-leaning court in a momentous case was expected, it also raised some unexpected dilemmas about who ultimately has the authority to disqualify a Presidential candidate.
