The difficult work of disaster response continues in southern Brazil where the death toll from flooding has now reached 149. More than 100 people remain missing – and experts warn it could take weeks for the waters to recede below flood levels. Much of the response is being carried out by volunteers putting their own health a safety on the line to help flood victims.
