Colombia will host the 16th meeting of the Conference of Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity this year from Oct. 21 to Nov. 1.

The summit is expected to address global efforts linked to conservation and sustainable use of biological diversity, an apt goal for Colombia, one of the most biodiverse nations in the world. CGTN’s Michelle Begue reports.
