Mexico bans junk food in schools to fight childhood obesity

Not long after taking office last fall, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum took up the cause of childhood health – announcing junk food would no longer be available in schools. The ban, seen as key to addressing crisis levels of childhood obesity, is set to take effect on March 29. CGTN’s Alasdair Baverstock reports.
