Much of the U.S. Northeast is in the middle of what’s being called a snow drought. New York City even broke a record on February 1, for its latest ‘first’ snowfall of the season since records began being kept more than 150 years ago.
And that was just a dusting.
The unusual weather is impacting regional business owners and residents alike, with environmental experts warning the lack of snow is a sign of climate change.
