  • In addition to workshops and training to improve their professional skills, judges are discussing the latest developments in their respective legal systems.
  • The BRICS leaders noted that the development of information technology is changing everything from how products are made to how people live their lives. In response, the judges said the courts must also adapt, to ensure justice continues to be carried out efficiently.
  • The Sanya Statement, signed by all five chief justices of the BRICS countries, calls for pragmatic judicial cooperation among countries to improve the rule of law and achieve economic growth under the framework of sustainable development.
